- Bokeh, the character of out of focus backgrounds, not simply how far out of focus they are, is beautiful. Out-of-focus backgrounds never distract.
- In lenses that have it (grande ouverture), coma goes away as stopped down. I can't see any coma in this aspherical lens.
- Ergonomics are PERFECT!
- The Nikon 35mm f/1.8 G is super-sharp. The corners are sharp, even at f/1.8.
- This is a very handy lightweight, disposable lens. It's optically and ergonomically superb.
