tres lours (750 g) et dapres ce que j'en lis ,minolta le vendait en dessous de son prix de revient .
The secret handshake of dedicated Minolta users, this surprisingly sharp and contrasty zoom is a hot item on the used market. The slow maximum aperture and relatively poor close-focus ability (five feet) are the tradeoffs the designers made to allow this lens to perform extremely well, even wide-open. 72mm filter (but don't actually try to use normal 72mm filters below about the 40mm setting), fast internal focus, variable flare (mine seems fine, others have to use it carefully, and it wasn't designed to take a dedicated hood), no lens hood. Has a special "macro" mode that I've never seen much point to, that gives you roughly 1:5.
- it is breathtakingyly sharp from edge to edge. This is the main strength and is the only reason needed to use this lens.
But also:
- no vignetting I can detect
- build quality that is out of this world
- a good heavy weight I like very much, complemented by being well-balanced
- Pretty good macro, certainly for my purposes
- Internal focussing speeds up autofocus and of course lets you use polarisers and other filters more easily.
Sharp, accurate color reproduction, almost constant aperture thoughout the zoom, versatile zoom range, excellent travel lens, metal barrel, internal focus, macro at 28mm.
It is very sharp, especially at 28mm.

Its sharpness and contrast can compare to Minolta prime lens in wide range from 28mm to 70mm. This one I most use in the field due to its long range zoom. Its image much better than Sigma 28-200 Super II in all ranges and all scales.
I don't really understand the description for this lens at the top of the page which describes it as "incredibly lightweight". The exact opposite is nore accurate.
The lens apparently was and is amongst the best lenses Minolta ever made.
Not having had the chance to test the current top-end Minolta lenses, I can't really say. Apparently it rivals the "G" lenses. BUT from one roll of film I shot specifically to test this lens I can say that compared to any other Minolta-fit lens I have tried (some cheaper sigmas, tamrons, Minolta's current consumer zooms) it is so far beyond these in optical quality it is unreal.

je ne l'ai pas encore reçu mais il semble interessant comme focale et le piqué est semble t'il formidable .je vous en dirais plus quand je l'aurai.
si vous en voyez sur le net ,je vous le conseille .
tres rare donc avant que le modele soit introuvable allez y .
il en reste 1 ou 2 sur ebay usa
de meme que le 50 mm 1.7 ou 1.4 mais celui lĂ on le trouve en neuf .
si vous avez d'autres objectif de cette sorte , merci de poster mais plutot ceux Ă un prix accessible
je pense qu'il serait bien aussi de poster les liens sur ebay ou autres sites comme ça tout le monde en profiterait.
