The photographers two sons, 12 year-old Michael (left) and 15 year-old Brandon, watch Comet Hale-Bopp on April 1st, 1997.
Photo taken with a Nikon 35mm F/2 lens working at f/2.8 on unhypered Fujicolor Super G 800 Plus color negative film, 5 minute exposure. Foreground exposure was made with a flash with a red filter over it.
