Canon's first 100mm lens. The Triotar type with 3 elements in 3 groups. This telephoto type 100mm f3.5 was the first popular 100mm lens for Canon. It was lightweight and compact middle telephoto lens with total length of 69.5mm, maximum diameter of 44mm and total weight of 205g. The mark II is even lighter than the mark I, only 184g and became a great hit.
